The follow instructions use Blogger<br /></p><ol><br /><li>Set up a free account with Blogger and post your first blog. Post anything as you can delete it later. </li><br /><li>Set up a free account on Audioblogger and link it to your blog on Blogger. When you set this up, you will create the account using a phone number and PIN of your choice. You can choose to share this number with your class for them to podcast, pass it along to “guest teachers” or keep it secret so that only you can record podcasts.</li><br /></ol><br /><p>You are now done and can podcast using any phone including your cell phone. </p><br /><p>You can add another layer of sophistication by syndicating your site (RSS). If you use an LMS (WebCT, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.), you can add the JAVA script to any text section that accepts HTML and the feed will be automatically placed in your course. You can also use an aggregator such as Bloglines to notify you as soon as a new podcast is posted. This is a wonderful way to manage posts if you are using this with student podcasts or guest teachers.</p><br /><p>If you would like to give this a try and see how you can post a podcast from your phone, use the instructions below. I have set up a “sandbox” for testing purposes. You can use the posting instructions then access your podcast using one of the methods below.</p><br /><p>For this sandbox, share your name and school followed by ideas about how this type of technology can be used in education.
